The Proximity USB Desktop Card Reader U.I.D will read the 10 digit U.I.D code number of any RFID Wiegand 26 bit 125 KHz card or key fob using this format - It will not read MIFARE cards/fobs

This unit is ideal in conjunction with our access control kits and Key fob readers only where you have several cards or key fobs. A time saving unit as opposed to hand writing all the code numbers printed on the card or key fob and then typing them out in order to populate a user list

Simply plug the unit in to a USB port on your computer, the unit will bleep to confirm communication and that is it! - No software required or additional software drivers to download, it's 'Plug and Play' operation

To generate a card or key fob list:
To do this, ensure the unit is connected to the computer, open Notepad or Word on the computer, present a card or key fob over the unit and it will display the 10 digit U.I.D code number - it's that simple
